Architectural Digest features Make It Right

Brad Pitt fell in love with New Orleans in the early 1990's while filming Interview with the Vampire. "New Orleans has its own mind ... its own thing. It has a real spirit. It's the most authentic of all American cities," he observed in the cover story of Architectural Digest's Jan. '09 issue.

In the interview which took place on the day Pitt helped Gloria Guy and her family move back into one of the Make It Right-rebuilt homes in the Lower 9th Ward, Pitt talked about the organization he founded to rebuild 150 houses that had been devastated by Hurricane Katrina: "You have no idea what a high it is for me to see the delight on people's faces when they see how these homes work."
